I'm a lifelong Texan, grew up in McAllen, Texas, have lived in San Antonio for over 39 years. Graduated from Rice University with a B.A. in History in 1974. I spent 20+ years being a stay-home mom, was a Sr. Manager for Discovery Toys (educational toys), and became a licensed REALTOR in 2001. I'm very proud of my 4 adult kids and am now "Grammy" to Victoria and Evan!
I take great pleasure and pride in helping people with their home purchases and sales. I also believe strongly in continuing my real estate education and in giving back to the real estate industry. I have earned several real estate designations and am most proud to have earned the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation--the premier designation for REALTORS. I am a Past President of the Texas CRS Chapter and currently hold the position of Regional Vice President, working with chapters in Nevada and Utah. Under my leadership as President of the Texas Chapter, we were named the National Small Chapter of the Year by the Council of Residential Specialists!
I also am very involved in my local and state Associations. I serve on the Board of Directors for San Antonio Board of Realtors and participate in several committees. For 2012, I am serving as Secretary/Treasurer.
For the Texas Association of Realtors, I am on the Professional Standards Committee, and serve on the Professional Development Committee. In 2012, I also serve on the Board of Directors for the Texas Association of Realtors.
At home, I have 2 kitties who rule my roost! I like to cook, read, raise my own herbs, and am a big fan of several local farmers' markets here in San Antonio. I also write a blog. Check it out at www.locationSA.com . My guilty pleasure? Survivor and Dancing With the Stars!
